I knew this would happen!!

Well...I knew this would happen. I would start this blog thing and never post anything! I guess I don't have as much time as I thought I would!! This past weekend we had a baby shower for one of my sisters, Jenny. She is due August 25th. I told her since she wouldn't start a blog I would update on her progress and share pics (which I'm sure she appreciates)! So, here are a few pics from her shower. Here is a picture of the hostesses... (my youngest sister Julie, my sister-in-law Melissa, the mommie-to-be, Lane Brown, Faith Gates, and me. We had a great time and Jenny got a lot of great gifts for Benton!

I guess I'll blog now

Well...after much consideration, I decided to enter the blog world. I had thought about it for awhile and decided to, but then decided not to because my life (I should probably say our lives - meaning my husband David and I) probably isn't that interesting to anyone. Then after more thinking, decided to take the plunge and start writing. I'm a writer anyway and you would think that after writing at work all day, writing at home would be the last thing I would want to do. And yes, maybe so, but I've always kept a journal and now since I don't have enough time during the day to write down my thoughts on paper, maybe I should try to do it on computer. So here go my rambling thoughts. For the sake of my loving husband, I will try not to post too much about him...I'm sure he would appreciate that.
